Here's a post i saw regarding the frustrations some biz owners face when people are trying to get them to discount their prices. 🤔 Now my take on this will likely be far different from the masses of biz owners owners... But yall already know I come to enlighten and offer a different way to view things 😎 So yea, this is my opinion on it and you are free to have yours.....but let's see who's version yields more peace at the end of the day fam 🤔 Ok, so I've been there before. Where folk would try to compare my prices at my repair shop with those of other mechanics. They wanted discounts because "Joe Blow" was offering the service cheaper 🙄 Well here's my take from what I've come to learn... THE CUSTOMER DON'T CARE HOW MUCH YOU PAY FOR EXPENSES 😳 At the end of the day, you're in business to solve problems whether you realize it or not. So if your potential customers are constantly coming to your for discounts... Then here's some things to consider.. 🔥 Are you actually marketing to your target audience? For example, if you always running sales at half off, your messaging is likely attracting folk who want cheap chit.. Ijs 🔥 Are you providing anything more to them than the millions of other people peddling the same kinda thing? 🤔 Like you selling shoes on shopify.. But do yours come with a free guide to show the person how to keep their new kicks looking fresh longer or you just got the "buy button"? 🙄 🔥 Are you offering an assortment of things in that category so a customer can choose what they feel like spending their money on? Or you selling 1 type make up color/brand and wondering why sales slow? At the end of the day you can be mad at the potential buyers all you want because they "coming at your prices".. But the only 1 who mad is you in that scenario 😏 Or you can start with what you CAN fix.. Like some of the things I listed above.. ... Then go out there and Make Bread fam 🤑 And yes I did this too in my offline biz... I stopped catering to folk who wanted a "cheap mechanic".😳 I upgraded and got a waiting room with TV and internet. Why? Because they were comforts that could help set me apart from the other mechanics on a budget😊 I started accepting credit cards and NOT trying to charge the customer extra for the credit card fee. Why? Because I didn't need to nickel and dime. My price more than covered me 😎 So this is just another way to look at it if you feel like you're getting way too many people asking you for discounts 😏 Ps: I don't know if the poster products are mainly ethnic so not sure why the reference to the "black" community. But for me.. Money is Green.. Or invisible if it's crypto currency 😂 ~ I Educate Because I Can #Coach_Dee
